The Portugal Investment Forum has been designed to move beyond broad presentations and promotional sales pitches. Each event will bring together a small audience with senior figures from across international cross-border tax, residency, property, business and inward investment, as well as family offices and HNW.
The emphasis will be on informed discussion, expert insight and practical guidance. Guests will be able to hear from experienced panellists and guest speakers, as well as ask questions, meet other like-minded investors and professionals, and take part in our expert clinics and Q&A sessions.
Strategic investment in Portugal is accelerating, with AICEP reporting record inward investment and job creation. Highlights include Microsoft's $10bn+ investment in AI and data-centre infrastructure in Sines, alongside NVIDIA and Startup Campus. Norway's sovereign wealth fund has just increased its holdings in Portuguese equities, bonds and renewable infrastructure, and Portugal will co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup with Spain and Morocco.
Portugal is also competing to attract entrepreneurs, internationally mobile professionals, investors, and other value creators through its evolving investment, residency, and tax framework — plus Web Summit, Europe's largest tech event.
A recent World Digital Foundation report found Portugal's Golden Visa has attracted €9bn in investment and created over 20,000 jobs since inception, with a wider economic impact of €54bn — six times greater.
After each forum panel discussion, there will be an opportunity to pose questions to our expert guests and panellists, as well as roundtable clinics, where you can ask specific questions on individual subject matters as it relates to life, tax, residency and investment in Portugal.
